Women’s Foundation California

The Women’s Foundation California has always stood for inclusion, justice, and progressive legislative change on behalf of all self-identified women, trans, and gender non-conforming people everywhere. For their brand refresh, we modernized their font, deconstructed the gender symbols, and added the rainbow of color to better reflect today’s inclusive and intersectional community. We designed this update to showcase their joyful activism and create a big umbrella to visually include, welcome, and celebrate people who believe in the cause.












For Instagram, we not only created branded templates for use on individual posts, we designed it as an entire system so that even the summary view looks cohesive as a whole. From posts to story icons to the brand new logo, on black and on white, the WFC Instagram represents their look through and through.

The colorful and modular main brand identity allowed us to create individual identities for each WFC sub-brand out of the main logo. Each sub-brand got it’s own section of the WFC color wheel, and then we built it out from there staying true to their hue. So they work both on their own and together as a family.
Claudia and her team understand how to design a logo and expand it into an elevated vision for our entire organizational identity. Love Orange exceeded our desire to update our brand and make it visually appealing for the future.
